Keys to Healthy Aging

Keys AHEC presents 3 Healthy Aging programs to help keep older Keys residents healthy and active. Contact for current class times in your area.

Enhance Fitness

This program is a socially stimulating class for serious seniors that emphasizes stretching, strength training, low-impact aerobics and balance.  Class is held three times per week for one hour.

Matter of Balance

This program teaches participants to change their environment to reduce their risk  of falls and set realistic goals for increasing activity, strength and balance.  Class is 2 hours once per week for a total of 8 weeks.

Living Healthy

This workshop promotes self-management of ongoing health problems such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease or high blood pressure.  Class is 2.5 hour once per week for a total of 6 weeks.
