Monroe County Health Collaborative

Supported by the Health Foundation of South Florida

Several Monroe County non-profits have joined forces to create a healthcare collaborative with the goal of increasing access to and expanding available healthcare services in the community. Keys AHEC is working closely with the following local non-profits:

Dental Sealant Program

In partnership with the Monroe County School District, the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the Department of Health, Keys AHEC provides dental assessments, sealants and varnish for all 2nd and 7th grade students in the Monroe County School District. Medical Student Rotations

Monroe County, FL is considered rural and medically under-served. Our student rotation program in partnership with the University of Miami and College of the Florida Keys seeks to promote our community as a place where some of these medical professionals may wish to pursue future careers.

CPR Instruction

Our certified CPR and BLS instructors provide group certifications throughout Monroe County, FL. These groups are not open to the public. If you are interested in certification you may contact us to inquire in the ability to establish a group training.
